This week's Top 5 features engaged events & entertainment centres from across the country that are "getting social" in their respective communities.
While there are countless individuals and organizations flocking to social media as a means to communicate directly with their communities, there's a growing number of key players who are taking the concept of being "socially engaged" online to another level, and we're proud to share with you our Top 5 choice on Twitter.
Last week was the turn of the Top 5 socially engaged shopping centres and malls from across the country who we follow for vendor and retail security news, tips, contests and exceptional customer service in response to various shopper queries. This week, we've chosen our Top 5 engaged events and entertainment centres on Twitter who keep us up-to-date with all of the latest events, music and celebrity pictures, and ticket information.

Surrounded by the mountains and located on the waterfront at Canada Place in the heart of beautiful downtown Vancouver, BC, the Vancouver Convention Centre is an award-winning facility spanning 4 city blocks that houses a host of functions, exhibitions and ballroom space. Other noteable Vancouver events centres include the hugely popular BC Place (@bcplace) - an open-air facility that boasts the biggest retractable roof of its kind in the world and celebrated its 30th birthday this week - and is home to the BC Lions and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and Rogers Arena (@RogersArena), which is home to the Vancouver Canucks.
