We want our customers to trust in our service, experience good customer care and get support when they need it and, in the unlikely event that they feel we don’t meet their expectations, to have the choice to take their business elsewhere. A choice you don’t have when locked into a contract.
Other companies within the security industry are like many other service providers; focusing on the RMR (Recurring Monthly Revenue) business model only. These companies go out of their way to create unrealistic offers to attract potential customers, who in turn commit to long-term service contracts. Some companies offer free security systems, TVs, computers, vacations or some even pay cash back - anything it takes to make their service more appealing to the market.
In many sales conversations I have with customers, the same question always come up - why don’t we offer free systems like these other companies? My response is always very simple - unfortunately, nothing is for free - and the customer will see for themselves those hidden charges in their monthly fees.
I like to call it the “cell phone mentality” - often the offer of a free phone along with a long-term contract distracts from the real question - is this the best service I need, at a fair price?
What happens when you're not satisfied with the service, or something changes in your circumstances, yet you're locked into an alarm monitoring contract?
Many of us in the know only ever select providers that avoid locking their customers into a contract because the advantages are far greater than a free TV or alarm system. A No Fixed Term Contract deal between a customer and a business keeps the latter on their toes, while guaranteeing great customer service because, if they don’t, the customer will quite simply go elsewhere!
As a result of all this, people always expect us to charge more for our services. The reality is that our pricing is highly competitive and transparent in our market, and can start at as little as $25 per month. Most importantly, we offer our customers an 'Easy Buy Program' to help purchase the required hardware on a monthly payment plan so that, with us, you own your security system and are not renting it for a lifetime.
