Frankie Townsend

Paladin Security Fort McMurray Human Resources Manager

I left Victoria, BC, in May 2011 with my family eager to start our new life in Alberta and, like a lot of people I've met since, I walked through the doors of the Paladin Security Fort McMurray office in hopes of getting a job, but left feeling that this could be the start of a whole new chapter in my life, which was so exciting!

What sets us apart from our competitors is our passion to strive for client and employee satisfaction. Our saying here is, “I got your back,” and it shows. We're always on call and ready to serve our customers, particularly as the security industry is a relationship-based business. Happy Security Officers mean happy clients, so promotion from within is key.

We care about the success of our people, so we spend a lot of time, money and resources coaching, mentoring and moulding them into industry leaders. It's important to show everyone that they can build a career path with us and I always tell new Officers in the recruitment process; "Here's the tool box, open it and let's help get you to the top!"

Since joining Paladin, I've been given the opportunity to attend Paladin's unique Junior Management Training Program and Human Resources Summit, to learn from the best security minds in the country.

Passion is something I see in my role on a daily basis, particularly as it relates to my fellow Women In Security. I love our Paladin family and I look forward to our growth together.
