Paladin Security is excited to announce our new partnership and team at the Edmonton Public Library.
There is a great vision happening in the core of downtown Edmonton; it is the vision for the future of Stanley A. Milner Library. The library, which services the community in so many ways beyond the lending of books, has been a foundational pillar to the community in which it continues to grow in.
The library’s strong values and approach align seamlessly with Paladin’s beliefs. It comes through in everyone’s attitude, character and effort to care for the members of its community. For Paladin, this is an amazing opportunity to support the exciting times within the Ice District.
Paladin Security in Edmonton is thrilled to be providing our expertise in security services, including officers and mobile patrols. The opportunity is a great expansion to Paladin’s footprint in the downtown area.
The Edmonton Public Library is a very inclusive and diverse place. In many cases, Paladin will act in partnership to the Edmonton Police, Peace Officers, and the City of Edmonton to support the library’s community in any way necessary.
Katherine Bell, Sr. Director of Operations, Paladin Security commented on the partnership, saying;
Our security officers have become true ambassadors for the library within the first few weeks of the contract. We are not just a uniform presence on site; the team is helping to bring the community together and I am so proud of them for the connections they are building, showcasing the Paladin difference.
The empowering message that the library projects is sharing, stating; “We share with our city, our community, our customers, and our EPL team. We share our stories, ideas, and our many different experiences. We share our space while always seeking to expand and improve it.”
Paladin has provided the team with the training and passion to encourage the library’s sharing can continue and grow for years to come!
