Jordan Lodermeier has been with the Paladin family since May of 2015. During his time with the company, he has experienced three different positions including: general duties guard at Park Place Mall, secure watch guard at Chinook Regional Hospital, and front line member of one of the core teams at Chinook Regional Hospital. We recently caught up with Jordan for a quick chat about his experiences.
Why did you get into the industry and why did you choose Paladin?
What initially drew me to Paladin was knowing many of the staff members that spoke highly of the company and of the work that they did within the community. Being a First Responder was also very appealing to me and was one of the reasons I came in for a career fair.
What advice would you give to someone entering into the security industry today?
The industry has a lot to offer, what you put into it is what you will get out of it. If you’re willing to put the effort in, you will be rewarded with an amazing career.
What do you enjoy the most about your recent promotion to Zone Supervisor for the South Zone?
I really enjoy the flexibility of the position. One moment you could be completing normal administrative tasks and the next be at a site assisting with any matter of situations. The position requires you to be attentive, but also flexible and have the ability to adapt and change.
What does the “Paladin Difference” mean to you?
It means putting the best of yourself out there at any given moment. You need to complete a task, conduct customer service, speak to clients or any matter of situations and always going above and beyond the call of duty. Working with paladin on the front line you are the face of the company.
Paladin employs the most stringent selection processes in the security industry. We’re very proud of Jordan and his growth within the company.
