Instructions to Update your Company Device when working OffSite/Home.

Please Note:

Do you log in into your Company Computer with your E-Mail Address AND E-Mail Passsword? Then this guide is for you

Please read ALL the steps before changing your password



First, connect to Pulse -> Corp

  • On your computer, press CTRL+ALT+DEL
    • Pic 2

  • Next click on Change a Password
    • Pic 3

  • Enter your current Password, then your new password in the New Password field then enter you new password once more in the Confirm Password field then click Enter
    • Pic 4

  • IF your password meets the Password Complexity Requirements then it will Save
  • WARNING: your Microsoft applications may annoy you to update your password for each application


Password Complexity Requirements

    • Password MUST BE 12 characters or longer is now the MINIMUM standard.

    • Must contain 3 out of 4 of each of the following categories:

      1. English uppercase characters (A through Z)
      2. English lowercase characters (a through z)
      3. Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
      4. Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

    • Avoid the following words:

      1. Family related word such as kids, spouses, pets, self
      2. Work related word(s) such as Paladin, office address, position, customer, etc
      3. Words that are easy to guess or can be found in your social media account such as DoB, birth place, etc

    • Your password CANNOT be similar to your previous 10 passwords

    • DO NOT use the same password with other credentials

    • To create a password that are easy to remember,Passphrases or Random Multiple Word separated by dashes or spaces are ENCOURAGED

    • We ENCOURAGE you to use 1Password Password Generator to create a memorable password (Change the middle drop-down from Random to Memorable)
