Tactical intrusion business alarm systems
Don't get fooled into thinking that 2 door contacts and a motion detector are sufficient to protect your building or warehouse. There are many alarm dealers out there who are more interested in selling you a monitoring contract that in your actual protection. Remember, even a "basic" system should include contacts on all accessible doors and windows, as well as interior or "space" protection to detect movement inside the premises when the system is armed.
Aside from deterring intruders, sounding an alarm, and reporting to a monitoring station, they are now often used as an information centre and management tool. With the proper set up, you can:
These systems are particularly suited to utilities, oil and gas industries, airfields and other outdoor restricted access sites where security breaches must be detected. Our Advanced Laser Detection Systems (ALDS) employ scanning lasers that track and record intruders movements within milimeters as they move throughout restricted areas, and paint a breadcrumb trail of their movements, all the while controlling a powerful PTZ camera to capture their actions on video. Alternatively, our Southwest Microwave perimeter protection systems can localize where a perimeter breach occurs to within metres, with either fence detection or buried cable sensors.
Most cities and municipalities require that any occupied commercial premises, including residential high and low-rise multi-tenanted buildings, be protected by a fire system and that the fire system must be monitored and serviced by a ULC-listed alarm company. This ensures that the proper responses and procedures are followed when fire alarms, fire troubles, and fire supervisory alarms are received, and that your system is in good working order.
We also monitor elevator telephones. Elevators are required to have emergency telephones so that anyone trapped in an elevator can call for help. From our ULC-listed monitoring station, we respond immediately to offer assurance to the caller that help is on the way, and notify the appropriate authorities and property references to get help.
Paladin has the most advanced Operation Centres in the country with multiple back up systems in place. That means you benefit from a faster response to all of your alarm signals. We meet and exceed the highest industry standards through our ULC listing and our CSAA 5 Diamond certification.
Highly trained Mobile Security Officers quickly respond to alarms 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Once onsite, our security team will make a full sweep of the premises and will take further action depending on the nature of the alarm, what they find, and your prior instructions. After the emergency situation is resolved, you’ll receive a complete Incident Report detailing our efforts and results of our onsite investigation.
