TORONTO, ON, December 2, 2015 – Canada’s most trusted Security Company achieved its goal of raising funds to make four-year-old Jace’s wish come true. The campaign to support Jace, who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia, was supported by Paladin employees coast to coast. With 23 branches across Canada, the Paladin Family got creative to ensure this campaign was successful. Many employees donated holiday time, personal donations and organized several events to support the cause.
On Wednesday morning, Scott Ackles, Paladin Security Vice President, Marketing, Sales & Communications, along with Terry Verasamy, Paladin Security Vice President, Eastern Canada, presented Meghan McGill, Manager, Fund Development at Make-A-Wish® with the cheque for $11,490.00. The contribution will enable Jace and his family to visit Walt Disney World® Resort to meet his favourite superhero, Spiderman!
“We want to thank the amazing team at Paladin Security for helping Jace’s one true wish come true,” said Meghan McGill, Make-A-Wish® Canada. “It is the heartfelt generosity of people like you (Paladin) that make our mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions possible.” Scott Ackles shared, “Being that Paladin Security is a national brand, Jace’s story made a real impact on our Paladin Family across the country, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s time and contribution in making Jace’s wish a reality.”
