Recently, it became very real as Paladin Security Officers were called upon to take an escalated threat protective posture during one recent event in Fort McMurray," he continued.
When it was discovered that police were responding to a possible shooting a block away, our Security Team at a client’s building immediately went into lockdown mode, while proceeding with the operational notification to the client’s operations centre. Within minutes, all of the building occupants were aware of the situation, which by this time was confirmed by both police and the media."
"Until the all clear was given several hours later," he added, "our team kept all parties informed with real-time updates, while our management team increased the protective posture at other local sites to ensure the safety of all in the immediate area.
