The annual celebration in Wood Buffalo is a milestone on the winter calendar, honouring the northern heritage and culture, as well as a love of sports and recreation in the great outdoors! It was a weekend filled with fun for all ages of the community.
Our dedicated security team worked on the project for five weeks. With set up, events, and preparation for over 5,000 people, it brought our people great satisfaction to see the weekend become a great success. Paladin had Security Officers on site 24/7 and managed access control until the event came to a close; parking support was executed as needed. The support of Paladin Security staff assisted in keeping both the public and event staff safe.
Paladin Security in Fort McMurray also sponsored the WinterART section, which presented snow painting, a sugar shack and local artifacts. When asked about the event and sponsorship, Matthew Garcin, Branch Manager, Paladin Security shared,
