Recently, Paladin Security was recognized by The Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee for our community support. As the oldest continuous sporting event in North America, the Regatta has been an integral part of Newfoundland’s history for nearly 200 years. The first recorded event was held in 1816, while the organization takes its anniversary from the 1818 event, held to commemorate the 47th anniversary of King George III’s official coronation.
Today, the Regatta attracts 50,000 people a year to the Quidi Vidi Lake for food and festivities, and serves as a social hub for the community as well as a sporting event.
