Paladin Security is delighted to announce that our people have raised over $45,500 from coast to coast during our annual Daffodil Month campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society's fight against cancer!
Being a loyal Canadian Cancer Society partner since 2012, our offices creatively design fundraising campaigns throughout the month of April as a part of our Four Seasons of Giving. Besides putting together street teams and selling daffodil pins, our teams work hard to organize creative fundraising events such as bake sales, BBQ's, video game tournaments and Jean's day proceeds. A crowd favourite is always our custom 'Daffodilgrams' that many of our employees took part in.
In addition to the coast to coast fundraising, COO, Don MacAlister also contributed a significant donation from his co-authored textbook, Hospital & Healthcare Security, 6th Edition.
I think we all have someone in mind when we donate to this important cause and I am no different. This annual contribution from me is for my beloved mother and mother-in-law, both of whom lost their battles with this terrible disease. I am so proud to work for a company who puts such an emphasis on giving, and with a group of employees whose passion and creativity in support of this cause never ceases to amaze me.
