Paladin Security Wins Employees’ Choice Award, Top 25 Best Places to Work in Canada

Paladin Security is pleased to announce we are among the winners of the eighth annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards, a list of the Best Places to Work in 2016.

Unlike other awards there was no self-nomination process, instead it’s entirely based on feedback that our employees have voluntarily and anonymously shared on Glassdoor. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by Canada-based employees over the past year. This year, Paladin is proud to be recognized among the Canada’s Top 25 Employee Choice companies. (See all winners: Glassdoor Best Places to Work 2016.)

Jason Creek, Corporate Human Resources Manager, National Quality Standards and Support at Paladin commented on the award, saying; “As a Best Managed Company, culture and employee engagement is something that we strive to achieve across the country. Most companies talk about the importance of their culture, but what sets us apart is our constant evolution to make Paladin the best place to work. Receiving an award that is determined by employee feedback means so much, as it reinforces the Paladin Difference.”

A huge thank you goes out to our #PaladinFamily from coast to coast who took the time to share their perspectives on what it’s like to work with Paladin. We appreciate all the valuable feedback as it only helps us to get better. Your hard work and dedication to your positions is what confirms quality at Paladin.

Below are a few words employees shared on Glassdoor that contributed toward the award and made us feel incredibly honoured to be recognized:

Promotion from within is one of the key values that allows security professionals to develop and be mentored to their highest potential.

I enjoy the job freedom and flexibility of sites. I have built good relationships with clients, which makes work fun. Great management and client feedback.

Great support structure in the office, straight through from our HR team, employee care coordinator, Scheduling team, and our client service managers. Cannot forget the hub of the wheel and usual first point of contact at the front desk. All levels of the Branch are supportive of what can be a challenging environment. Paladin oaks hard to provide competitive wages, education, and generally solid relationships with all staff.

Paladin Security's corporate culture strives to provide their people with the utmost support and training to succeed in their career. Promotion from within is one of the key values that allows security professionals to develop and be mentored to their highest potential! Work hard, take advantage of any opportunity that presents itself, and above all else have fun!

One of the great things about Paladin is the company's culture. Being part of such a well valued and professional company allows me to enjoy the work I do every single day. Paladin is truly in a business of making a difference and helping the public and at the same time we are passionate about what we do.

Paladin is committed to providing extensive support for its employees through comprehensive benefits and rewards programs. Promotion from within is a fundamental part of Paladin's development and career advancement is always a possibility for all Security Officers.
