Access Control, Screening & Terminal Security
Paladin maintains a high level of professionalism to ensure the safe, secure movement of travellers, luggage, employees and cargo throughout the airport with efficiency and promptness—while adhering to strict Transport Canada, CBSA and CATSA regulations. Our officers learn through mandatory legislated training how to implement various kinds of patrol techniques, and how to handle challenges specific to the airport environment—such as unauthorized persons entering into restricted areas, or vehicles and items left unattended in the terminal or curbside. Mobile Patrol
Our services cover a crucial element of airport security through high-profile mobile patrols. As airports can have large areas to cover, our designated mobile units provide overall security to your site during peak hours. We have handled issues including individuals attempting to perform unauthorized passenger services, and solicitors trying to engage in unauthorized commercial activities. Escorting Services
Paladin understands that the needs of our clients and the demands for various services within the airport environment are under very strict regulations set out by Transport Canada. We have trained our employees on the appropriate regulations to provide escorting services to contractors who have not obtained the necessary security clearance to access restricted areas, both within the terminal and airside. This service ensures that contractors are able to continue to provide necessary services to the airport (i.e. construction, deliveries and various events).
Ground & Curbside Service
Paladin believes customer service plays a crucial role in defining the first impression for travellers, tenants and employees—providing a positive experience from when people first arrive curbside, to when they reach their final destination. As officers serve at the frontlines, they will be the first point of contact for many users of an airport, and it is essential that they represent you to the best of their abilities. To facilitate this, our officers go through a rigorous customer service training program before being deployed to an airport. Our program emphasizes professionalism, using positive language, active listening, greeting travellers, avoiding jargon when speaking, and dealing with irate passengers in the most professional way. We have tailored our program to address the changing needs of airports, and more specifically, to ensuring a positive experience from curbside to destination for individuals who experience mobility issues.
Parking Management
Paladin manages land-side airport services, such as parking and curbside operations. Our qualified, highly-trained officers are provincially certified to enforce local and municipal by-laws, or infraction penalties where necessary. We also provide unique services such as Scooper Patrol to help airports ensure their policies are strictly enforced. On top of that, we provide state-of-the-art parking management solutions and technology through our sister company Concord Parking—offering premiere services to airports, as well as Class A shopping centres, office complexes, educational facilities and local governments.
