Our privacy statement

Although new federal & provincial privacy laws came into effect January 1, 2004, Paladin Security Group Ltd. has always been committed to protecting the privacy of its clients and employees and has long-standing security measures to preserve the confidentiality of sensitive financial, corporate and personal information. We are also committed to informing you of the purposes for which we collect, use and disclose personal information, and to seeking your consent in accordance with applicable laws.

We want to take this opportunity to let you know the procedures we've put in place. Our Personal Information Protection Policy sets out ten principles that are observed by Paladin Security Group Ltd. and its subsidiaries, affiliates and related organizations with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of information about identifiable individuals other than Paladin Security Group’s employees (a separate policy applies to them.)

The knowledge and consent of the individual express or implied, are required for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information by Paladin Security Group Ltd., except where inappropriate.

Paladin Security Group Ltd. will limit the amount and type of personal information collected to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by Paladin Security Group Ltd.

Limiting Use, Disclosure & Retention

Paladin Security Group Ltd. will not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required or permitted by law.


Paladin Security Group Ltd. will keep personal information as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as possible.


Paladin Security Group Ltd. will protect personal information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.


Paladin Security Group Ltd. will be open about its policies and procedures with respect to management of personal information. Paladin Security Group Ltd. will make this information available in an easy-to-understand form.

Individual Access

Upon a member's request in writing, Paladin Security Group Ltd. shall inform a client of the existence, use, and disclosure of his or her personal or corporate information and the client shall be given access to that information, except where the law requires or permits Paladin Security Group Ltd. to deny access.

Challenging Compliance

An individual will be able to direct a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to the designated individual or individuals accountable for Paladin Security Group’s compliance.

Although the laws are relatively new, Paladin Security Group has been following most of the stated requirements for many years. We will continue to take steps to preserve the privacy and security of our clients’ personal and corporate information.
