Training for Advancement
Our commitment to your ongoing training and education led us to create an advanced safety and security-based course curriculum that’s unmatched anywhere else in the security industry. We believe education is the basis of a highly-skilled security team, and we encourage our people to actively participate in the ongoing training courses we offer.
By ensuring ongoing training is a prerequisite for advancement, we will enable you to expand your horizons through additional courses, all of which are provided at no cost.
Online Training
We have also developed numerous training courses available to our security officers through our Employee Resource Centre (ERC) in a web-based, e-learning format. Our Learning Management System (LMS) is integrated with our HR and scheduling software systems. This enables us to administer, document, track, analyze, and improve upon our extensive training programs and content.
Management Training
As a company that practices what we preach, our management team is offered company-paid business degrees or diplomas, in addition to company-paid designations such as CPP through ASIS or CHPA designations through IAHSS. Our client service managers also complete extensive emergency management training through the Justice Institute of BC.
Client Training
Our training experts provide numerous ongoing courses for our clients and our clients’ tenants at the facilities we protect. Examples range from ‘lunch-and-learns’ on personal safety to extensive hands-on training in managing aggressive behaviour.
