Paladin is pleased to enter its new partnership with the Strathcona Business Improvement Association (SBIA).
The Strathcona area is one of the oldest residential neighbourhoods in Vancouver and is home to over eleven thousand people. The SBIA works to find ways to address the safety of its businesses, employees and customers while improving the community's safety and to alleviate any concerns its residents may have.
Since entering our partnership in September, our Officers have played a key role, not only fulfilling the duties of Security Officers, but as liaisons with the SBIA. Our team at Strathcona dedicates their time conducting foot patrols, interacting with community members and responding to calls for service.
Reflecting on the history of the Strathcona community, we have been extra considerate in ensuring that community members know our Officers are there to help in making them feel safe regardless of status or social position. Our team is engaged and driven in the work that they are doing each day, using technology in a distinctive manner allowing for us to capture emerging trends, produce detailed analytics to be truly proactive in our approach of service.
Our Officers working in Strathcona have a great sense of pride and accomplishment in knowing that they are making a real impact in the community and embracing the need of going beyond the traditional role of a Security Officer.
