Paladin Security strongly believes in equipping our people with best in class training and knowledge through specialized courses and continuing education programs for all employees. Our management team is dedicated to helping our employees develop both personally and professionally, ensuring that everyone has the right skill sets for their position and is equipped with a winning attitude. We are confident that the best way to create a strong team is through employee development and ongoing support - providing the knowledge and training necessary to help employees progress to roles of greater scope and responsibility.
Our promotion from within philosophy hasn’t just created jobs, it has nurtured careers from coast to coast. Two of the most recent examples of Paladin employees who have grown into senior management roles are Vice President of Atlantic Canada, Leanna Brown and Vice President of Ontario, Blair Davenport:
Leanna began her career at Paladin as a Site Supervisor for the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. She then progressed into the Client Service Manager role for Healthcare in Nova Scotia. Through her continued excellent performance, she was subsequently promoted to Operations Manager, then Branch Manager and on to Regional Director. Now, as Vice President of Atlantic Canada, Leanna oversees a team of over 800 personnel in Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland.
Similarly, Blair Davenport began as a Mobile Supervisor before progressing through the ranks as a Field Manager, followed by Operations Manager and Director of Operations before his recent promotion to Vice President of Ontario.Blair emphasizes, "With this new role, I hope to continue our growth in the market so that we can provide the opportunities and support the company has provided me to our next generation of professionals."
We often stress the career development opportunities available within Paladin and nothing makes me prouder than announcing Leanna's and Blair's well deserved promotions. Paladin has grown rapidly over the last ten years and our potential for future growth and career development opportunities for our team members remains extremely promising. Both Leanna and Blair have built a strong understanding of our business, the industry and represent Paladin extremely well, explains Executive Vice President of Eastern Canada, Iain Morton.
Paladin is continuously developing the careers of many promising employees, company wide. Through our development programs, any member of our staff can plot their own career path within our organization, lending stability to our workforce.
