Meet Paladin’s Training Coordinator, Noah Tufts, from our Nova Scotia branch. Noah is close to being an eight-year veteran with Paladin. His experience comes mainly from summer camps, retail, construction &
contracting. He has another five years of experience in the security industry prior to joining Paladin. Aside from teaching around the province and updating training content, some of his duties include branch operations support, incident follow-ups and teach-outs, follow-up on staff development, evaluations & assessments, collaboration with Physio programs, and documentation/admin regarding trainees.
“I love to see a student’s eyes light up when they learn something new, and I will work hard to make sure everyone has something valuable to take away from a day in the classroom. By equipping our people with the best tools, it’s my hope that I can help them to help others and to keep making the world a better place, one interaction at a time. To be able to play an instrumental part in helping our people reach their potential is a privilege,” Shared Noah.
He has a fairly broad scope of interests. Music has been a huge part of his life; he plays guitar and bass. He occasionally dabbles in leatherwork, building the occasional computer, reading a good book, playing videogames or board games with friends, cycling, hiking, and borrowing friends’ dogs to explore some trails!
Noah is another shining example of our outstanding trainers at Paladin. They really take the time and dedication when it comes to training our staff. The Paladin Difference is about more than just meeting curriculum requirements or teaching students about everyday security procedures; it’s about bringing the classroom to life. We want our students to be able to take the information they’ve learned and apply it on the next patrol. Through this hands-on, strategic learning, we empower our security professionals to make a positive difference in their communities.
