Meet Paladin Trainer, Anthony Suppa
Anthony graduated from Mohawk College with a Law & Security Diploma. He joined The Paladin Family in 2015 as a casual Security Officer for the Grace Centre, a Mental Health and Addictions facility in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland and Labrador. He became a Site Supervisor in 2016 and an alternate trainer in 2017. Fast forward to 2022, he is now in a Lead Trainer role with Paladin in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Anthony was first trained in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Use of Force in 2017. He became a First Aid instructor with St. John Ambulance in 2019, with instructor recertification in March this year. He was also recently trained in MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) Certification with our very own National Training and Development Manager, Jason Magallanes, a.k.a. J-Mag!
“I have learned over the years as an instructor that through training and development, many remarkable things happen by meeting many great people that end up becoming lifelong friends. The knowledge you share with other members of The Paladin Family to carry with them for a lifetime is truly rewarding! It is all about creating fun, interesting, and engaging experiences and finding a purpose to bring out the absolute best in each one of our Paladin Family members to exemplify the “Paladin Difference.” It is an honour to play a part in the insurmountable wealth of training that is offered through our company that cares so much about each and every employee.” - Anthony Suppa
Anthony is another shining example of our outstanding trainers at Paladin. They really take the time and dedication when it comes to training our staff. The Paladin Difference is about more than just meeting curriculum requirements or teaching students about everyday security procedures; it’s about bringing the classroom to life. We want our students to be able to take the information they’ve learned and apply it on the next patrol. Through this hands-on, strategic learning, we are empowering our security professionals to make a positive difference in their communities.
Be sure to listen to The Difference Makers podcast, where our security professionals talk about what makes Paladin’s training so unique and why continuous education is vital.
