As part of Paladin's strong dedication to its community partnership with Ronald McDonald House on Thursday, February 16, 2017 a group of employees took part in "Meals that Mend" program.
Meals that mend is an organizational hands-on program that involves volunteers to create a menu, shop for groceries and prepare a healthy and well-thought out lunch for the Ronald McDonald House's staff, guests and families. Meal stations like "Create your own Sandwich" and "Make your Own Salad" along with a variety of snacks and beverages were creatively prepared by the volunteer staff ensuring the families and guests were well fed during their busy day.
After lunch, Paladin's team was given a full tour of the house and saw first-hand what a wonderful job the Ronald McDonald House does for the Edmonton community. The whole experience was a heart-warming one, as the Paladin felt welcomed and treated as a part of their team. Even Security Officers assigned on site were treated as a part of the team just as well.
The whole opportunity was an honour and an invaluable experience for the whole Paladin team. It certainly helped to further strengthen and grow the Paladin Security and Ronald McDonald House relationship.
